Kombi-SIM
Die Kombi-SIM-Karte ist eine Kombination aus Standard-SIM-Karte (wird auch als Mini-SIM bezeichnet) und Micro-SIM-Karte. Sie ist auch bekannt unter der Bezeichnung Hybrid-SIM oder Multi-SIM und passt somit in alle Mobiltelefone, außer in Apple Geräte ab iPhone 5. Aus dem Träger der Kombi-SIM lässt sich sowohl eine “normale” SIM-Karte, als auch eine Micro-SIM-Karte herausbrechen.

Triple-SIM
Im Zuge der Verbreitung der iPhones ab Generation 5, die eine weiter miniaturisierte Nano-SIM benötigen, werden vermehrt Triple-SIM-Karten ausgegeben. Aus dem Träger der Triple-SIM lässt sich sowohl eine "normale" Standard-SIM-Karte als auch eine Micro- und Nano-SIM-Karte herausbrechen.
